The purpose of the ACTS weekend is to Invite retreatants into a new or deeper relationship with the Lord and with other faithful women through Adoration and daily prayer; Community awareness as a member of the Body of Christ; Theology encouraging more study of our faith and God’s Word; and promoting the virtue of Service to our Lord and one another.

What is the ACTS Retreat?
An ACTS Retreat is a 3 day 3 night parish-based retreat that offers parishioners the opportunity to experience the love of Jesus Christ in a deep, profound way. ACTS Retreats are given by parishioners for fellow parishioners which serves to build Christian community within the parish.

The ACTS Retreat experience is rooted in the Paschal Mystery in that retreatants are invited to reflect on the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

This retreat begins on Thursday evening and ends on Sunday morning following the 10:30 AM Mass. The purpose of this weekend is to invite parishioners into a new or deeper relationship with the Lord and with other faithful men through Adoration and daily prayer; Community, awareness of one’s identity as a member of the Body of Christ; Theology, encouraging more study of our faith and God’s Word; and promoting the virtue of Service to our Lord and one another

The health and safety of all men attending the November 2021 Men’s ACTS Retreat is our primary concern during this worldwide COVID‐19 pandemic. The leadership team received advice from the Maine Emergency Management Agency and from a physician with a background in preventive medicine and public health and determined that the retreat could be presented safely. We went through a discernment process to determine whether we should proceed with the retreat. The Holy Spirit indicated that we should proceed, while making all efforts to do so safely. This retreat’s COVID‐19 Prevention Protocol is consistent with all state and federal guidance related to COVID safety.

The retreat by the Grace of God was a success
