Project Description:
I volunteered to help update records for the Augusta Police Department. These records involved cases going back roughly 10 years and had to be separated and refiled from the main files. It required much research done by hand. The agency has a Volunteers In Service to Police (VIP) in which I devoted time over the past several years. The latest project is ongoing but I ceased regular activity in June. I plan on returning on a regular basis during the winter.
This report represents over 3 months of work. I would perform the research about 2 days a week. I put in 76 hours and 45 minutes of volunteer work.
