The GK also gave a eulogy, which was gratefully received by the family. Twenty 26 of the council’s 111 members were in attendance at the viewing and Rite of Christian Burial. The Commander and GK presented the family with a Fourth Degree crucifix following mass.
The funeral was two days later and was attended by the GK, the Spiritual Advisor and other Knights. A K of C Memorial flag holder was placed at the gravesite. It will be adorned with a flag each Memorial Day. So long, Brother Al Rousseau!
