CLEANING NEIGHBOR'S SHEDS

09/03/2020

Council: 10020 - No. WINDHAM

Project Description:

THE WIDOWED NEIGHBOR AT THE ABOVE ADDRESS ASKED MY WIFE AND I IF WE WOULD CLEAN & REMOVE THE CONTENTS OF TWO LAKE-SIDE SHEDS ON HER PROPERTIY. THE SHEDS MEASURED 5X6 FEET & 10X13 FEET AND HAD BEEN USED SPARINGLY SINCE SHE BECAME A WIDOW SOME 25 YEARS AGO. THINGS THAT HAD BEEN STORED IN BOTH SHEDS OVER THAT TIME HAD BECOME MOLDY, RODENTS (MICE SKUNKS & OPPOSSUMS) HAD TAKEN REFUGE THERE AND BOTH SHEDS WERE IN VARIOUS STATES OF DISREPAIR. WE SORTED THROUGH DECADES OF “STUFF” AND HAND CARRIEDTHEM UP THE HILL TO OUR VAN. THREE VAN LOADS OF PATIO FURNITURE, OLD FLOTATION DEVICES, MAGAZINES, LUMBER AND OTHER ASSORTED “STUFF” WERE TAKEN TO THE TOWN DISPOSAL LOCATION AND DISPOSED OF.
