Construction of Heavy Duty Shelving
Council: 2219 - WESTBROOK
As with any shared use building, space to store “stuff” is always at a premium. Our council constructed a mezzanine level in the janitorial room several years ago. In the interim, at least five groups began to store their belongings there. It became almost impossible to move around. Last year our council built two large shelving units (72” wide x 24” deep x 72” high) for the local Family Promise group. These shelves were so popular that we decided to build three more to be shared by the Boy Scouts, Family Promise and our Council. The total cost for the new shelves of $275 was born totally by the council. You guessed it … we still need another shelf!
