Project Description:

The Knights of Columbus St. Thomas Council named Frank and Jean Pease as Family of the Month for their tremendous contributions to the Knights of Columbus, St. Therese of Lisieux Parish and Maine Right to Life Committee.

Frank and his wife Jean make their home in Sanford, Maine. Frank retired as Maintenance Manager from Pratt and Whitney Corporation, where he supervised 45 maintenance workers. Jean is a retired AVP and Credit Union branch manager.
Frank and Jean has been involved in the Knights of Columbus since Frank took his First Degree in 2004. Frank has since risen to Sir Knight. Frank is also an Honor Guard. A former Grand Knight and District Deputy and he currently serves as a Trustee in the St. Thomas Council in Sanford. Frank and Jean also serve as Pro-Life Chair Couple for the Maine State Knights of Columbus; for 10 years and will attendthe 2018 Annual State Convention in Newry, Maine.

Frank and Jean are communicants at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish in Sanford where they both serve as Lectors and Eucharistic minister. Frank also organizes benefit dinners for St. Thomas School, as well as the Friday Night Lenten Haddock suppers to benefit the Parish, Waban Projects and St. Thomas Council.

Frank and Jean Pease are heavily involved in Right to Life. Frank and Jean both serve on the Maine Right to Life Committee. Along with his wife Jean, he has been involved in many Right to Life projects, including the Ultrasound Initiative. This program raises funds locally that are matched by K of C Supreme Council in order to purchase Ultrasound machines to be placed in various Pregnancy Care Centers. The Pease’s are currently involved in the Baby Bottle Campaign, which is another fund raiser to protect the unborn. This Summer, they are going to sponsor the Annual Right to Life Walk in Sanford, which will be another fundraiser. Earlier this year, Frank and Jean traveled to Augusta, Maine to support Hands around the Capital. They also partook in the Right to Life March in Washington, D.C. for the past 10 years.

They have been married for 51 years and have three children: John, Jim and Anne Marie. They have 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
