Flagholders for Deceased Members

Project Description:
An article in the Maine State Council monthly newsletter highlighted some flag holders offered for sale by the Skowhegan Council #2289. Since our council has used these flagholders for years, and since they are expensive and not readily available, our Grand Knight polled the officers for approval to make a bid. The officers unanimously approved, so the GK made the contact. Within a few minutes, the price of $400 for the lot of 75 holders was agreed to.
The next day our GK traveled the 85 miles to Skowhegan, visited a while with that Brother Knight, and returned home the same day. The holders are kept in the Knights area of a storage shed on church property.
