Gun Show

Project Description:
The Council sponsored a Gun Show at the American Legion Post 205 on Eastern Avenue, in Augusta. The Show Ran for 2 days, open Saturday 9am to 4pm and Sunday 9am to 2pm. Knights ran the concessions, security, and admissions for the show. Knights worked hard setting up the Legion for the show. Knights cleaned the hall and kitchen. Knights had the floor plan and set up the 38 tables for the vendors. During the show Knights checked all guns coming into the were tagged with a black tag indicating the gun was brought into the show. When a gun was sold, vendors tagged the gun with a orange tag. Knights responsible for security removed the tag when the customer was leaving the building. Concessions ran great, most vendors support the concession and requested breakfast and lunch items be placed on the menu.
When the Gun Show ended the Knights worked in teams removing the tables, cleaning the kitchen, sweeping and washing the floor.
Over 600 people attended the Gun Show.
the Council made over $2600.00 in admission fees and concessions.
