Knight of the Month - December

Council: 2219 - WESTBROOK

Project Description:

The Knight of the Month for December has taken on a much greater workload in 2021. He has served religiously as our Worthy Recorder for several years. In order to enter the chain of succession to Grand Knight, I asked him to step out of that role and into that of Chancellor. Since that time, he has been one of our most visible members at nearly every council event. He played a major role in renovations at the rectory and disposal of obsolete equipment and materials on church and rectory properties. He volunteered at the first annual Parish Fair in Windham, attended the fall District Meeting in Bridgton, the Southern Maine training session hosted by council #2219 in November, and spent considerable hours at “Christ, Our Savior, is Born!”, the nativity display and sale of Fr. Reggie’s collection. He took the lead on signing attendees in, freeing me up to do other things.
He is willing to let us use his trailer to haul our Westbrook Together Day gear, as well as store the same on this extensive property. He has given me a standing offer to assist wherever and whenever I need him.
He and his wife Jeanne are extraordinary ministers and regular attendees at Sunday morning mass. I am pleased to name Bill DeCormier as December’s Knight of the Month.
