Parish Picnic and Raffle

Project Description:
This parish sponsored annual picnic allows families to enjoy an outdoor barbecue and fund-raising raffle. Although the event is sponsored by the parish “Events Committee” many of the participants are made up of parish Knights. There were significant hours in preparing the event, set up the hall, coordinate the event and clean up. Traditional fare of hot dogs and burgers were served to parishioners along with a raffle consisting of donated goods from various parties. This annual event was held at the St. Pius X hall with activities like a children’s bounce house outdoors. All proceeds are to benefit the parish.
