Pray The Franciscan Family Chaplet Rosary. 15791
Council: 15791 - FALMOUTH
One of our council brothers and his wife participated in reciting the Franciscan Family Chaplet Rosary as part of their On-Going Formation Meeting at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Church on Friday May 11, 2018. As part of the Secular Franciscan Program, our Formation Direction set’s up lesson’s which we as a group participate in monthly. Following this month’s lesson we were introduced to the “Franciscan Family Chaplet Rosary” by the Minister of our Fraternity. This Rosary is unique in a number of ways. The main difference in this rosary we prayed this evening was it had only three decades, and the beads are prayed differently. After an explanation of each decade, our Minister lead us in praying the Franciscan Family Chaplet Rosary. All present for Formation this evening were very blessed to have been introduced to this Franciscan Rosary, and we will add it to our prayer programs going forward. As a Catholic, who is involved in our weekly Rosary Program at the Parish of the Holy Eucharist, I feel that praying the rosary daily, weekly of monthly is very important. By taking the time to pray the rosary brings us that much closer to Jesus and Mary in our lifetime.
