Resstoration of Memorial to the Unborn Child
Council: 680 - MILLINOCKET
The memorial to the unborn child on the front lawn of St. Martin’s in Millionocket was in need of restoration. Weeds had stunted the growth or killed many of the perennials that were in the garden. The heart shape of the garden was no longer distinguishable due to the overgrowth of crab grass and weeds. The statues in the garden had toppled over and were in need of restoration. 3 Knights and 2 wives decided to take on this project. The heart shape of the garden was restored. The weeds were pulled and the flowers and plants were replaced. The statues were given a good scrubbing and returned to the garden. The memorial was indeed returned to its solemn splendor.
