Project Description:
Three council brothers, their family members and our Priest for the weekend participated in this years Sacramental Anointing of the Sick ceremony at Saint Gregory’s following the 4 PM Mass. A sacrament is an outward sign established by Jesus Christ to confer inward grace through the power of the Holy Spirit. The Anointing of the sick is for all Catholics as a means to bring both spiritual and physical strength to those who suffer from either physical, emotional or mental illnesses. Those that are also scheduled for surgery, routine treatments, or a sudden medical crisis. Following the Anointment there were a few questions from those in attendance, and our Priest address each and everyone. Thank you LORD for this blessing today.
