St Joseph's Church Food Pantry

Project Description:
1st Degree Knight Joe Balchunas assisted the St Joseph Church Food Pantry in making food available to families shopping for their primary food needs. On July 26th, Joe helped clients pack their vehicles with food, and later assisted in storing carts and coolers which were used for the distribution. Joe worked 3 hours that day. There were about 7 other parishioners participating, who belong to the Food Pantry.
The St Joseph Church Food Pantry services indigent families living in the communities of Bridgton, Fryeburg, Naples and Harrison. Food was distributed to 25 families on July 26th. Food items consist of cereals, canned goods, snacks, boxes of pasta, frozen meat, produce, butter and bread.
