Support A Brother Knights Family In Their Time off Loss. 15791
Council: 15791 - FALMOUTH
One of our council brothers and his wife attended a Funeral of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Windham on Wednesday September 11, 2019. For my first thirteen years as a Knight of Columbus I served my time with the Windham Council. During that time I was involved in many Church, and Community events with a fellow Brother knight from Windham. I remember many times that this brother was feeling pain in his hip and knees, and yet would always be there to help in peeling potatoes, to set-up of the hall for dinners, to supporting the Annual Yard Sale, to Standing at Wal-Mart or Shaw’s during the Annual Tootsie Roll Drive weekend, etc. This Brother and I also worked side by side on his council Admission Team in bringing in new members to the Council and Order. This Brother was a very giving Brother outside of the Knights Council also. He was also a long time member of the Elks Club, and very much of a loving and caring Parent, Grand parent, and Great Grandparent. As a friend and Brother in the Knights I will miss our visits together, and also our fellowship in all we did in support of the Needy and the Church with his council. May our deceased Brothers soul now rest in Peace.
