Supporting Our Community Library During Covid-19.
Council: 15791 - FALMOUTH
I and my wife donate to our local library once a year. For years now, we as a Family have made some sort of donation to help our library in a number of ways. This year we were fortunate enough to come across a deal which we felt the library could use. From time to time, they have a bargain table set-up where they sell books, CD’s, and puzzles at a reduced price. The money raised goes toward their yearly expenses. In our travels this holiday season we came across a deal of several large puzzles which were brand new, and never opened. After talking it over with my wife, we decided to purchase these puzzles and donate them to the library. On 4 January I stopped by the library and gave them the brand-new puzzles. The staff was very appreciative of our thoughts, and they were sure the puzzles would sell fast. Giving back to the Community is a very Blessed way, we as a Family show our GOD that we appreciate all the many gifts we receive each day, and our Life together.
