Project Description:
Our council members gathered once again for our December Business Meeting. Last evening like in pass monthly gatherings we conducted our business meeting with some members attending via computer. This month one of the members brought up donating five hundred dollars to help the Sisters with heating cost at the Community of the Resurrection. Each month needy families connect up with the Community of the Resurrection, which is located in Otisfield Maine. After some discussion a motion was made by one of our members to donate five hundred dollars to the Community of the Resurrection. This motion was seconded by another council member, and approved by all in attendance. As Knights of Columbus we are guided by our Faith, and Charity in support of the Needy. Reminder that Saint Francis gave all of his possessions so he could mirror Jesus in helping those in Need. My wife and I are very Blessed to be a part of both the Knights of Columbus and a local Franciscan order. GOD is incredibly GOOD.
