Take Out Turkey Dinner for the parishioners & guests
Council: 11257 - PORTLAND
The Knights of Council 11257 (and 101) prepared a Thanksgiving take out dinner for the parishioners and guests. The dinner consisted of Turkey, Potato, Squash, Peas, Stuffing, Cranberries and Gravy all packaged to take out. There were 116 knights and parishioners who participated. 11 Knights total from each council prepared, delivered and cleaned up for the event which was very well received by the parishioners. Most of the fixings were donated by St. Vincent DePaul Soup Kitchen including 11 Frozen Turkeys. Councils paid for the additional supplies and a total of $1500 will be split by the councils for their charitable works.
