Life Activities:
Andy Levesque attended the Maine State Annual Convention. He distributed baby packets, brochures, pamphlets, and other useful literature. The Knights are collecting money (to place in a line account) in order to support Mr. Levesque.
The Silver Rose program was well attended at the Maine State Convention on May 22nd at 6:30 am. “The Silver Rose is a rosary-centered occasion for Knights, parishioners, and community members to pray for respect for life, for the spiritual renewal of each nation, and for the advancement of the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe.”
Maine Right to Life will be sending us this year’s raffle tickets. Let us know how many tickets your councils will need. We are in short supply this year. Order now supplies may run out.
Ultrasound Program
- Three Pregnancy Support Centers in Aroostook Country are awaiting ultrasounds. It was recommended that the centers be blessed by a priest (this is also a great idea for all of our sites)
- Funding needed (urgent!!!): Pat Bonney (from Open Arms Pregnancy Center in Augusta) needs funding. One council is working to fundraise in June, please join their efforts.
