State Evangelization and Faith Formation (EFF) Director

My Brothers,

At the recent summer meeting of the Maine State Council, we spent time getting back to
our roots as evangelizing disciples of Jesus. All our good works are an outgrowth of our
Catholic faith, stemming from the love our creator which we share with the world. This
is evangelization, through which our faith is deepened and by which the world comes to
better know the purpose for which we were all created.

The Supreme Council is heavily promoting the Evangelization and Faith Formation
(EFF) initiative, which is called Cor (Latin for “heart”). It has just come out with exciting
news that will help each council’s EFF efforts. This year Supreme is providing all
Council EFF directors with access to FORMED by the Augustine Institute. This provides
additional high quality formative content for Cor.

To accomplish this, all councils need to tell Supreme the name and email address of the
council’s EFF director. Here is a link to a supreme form which captures this information.

I have asked each district deputy to help his councils fill out this form. I also asked them
to forward the council EFF director information to me so I may access it as soon as
possible. If you are a district deputy, please get this taken care of as soon as you can.
If you are a council officer and you have not filled out this form, please do so and make
sure I get the information, also. You may contact your district deputy or me to assist you
if needed. My contact details are above.
