2019 Council Social

Council: 11376 - BRIDGTON-FRYEBURG

Project Description:

On May 8th 2019 10 Brother Knights of Council 11376 Bridgton/Fryeburg, their spouses and our Pastor and the Council Chaplin, also Brother Knights, attended the annual Council social at the Campfire Grill in Bridgton Maine. Our Pastor led us in an opening prayer followed by a great meal and fellowship.
Our District Warden, Tom Nigro, congratulated the council on obtaining the Council of the Year Award (B division) and four other Faith in Action awards for the current Fraternal Year. Our Grand Knight Russ Eagleston thanked our priests for their dedication to the priesthood and for all they do for the parishioners of St Joseph’s Church in Bridgton and St Elisabeth’s Church in Fryeburg.
Our Pastor in turn thanked the members of the council acknowledging us for our support and for all of the services that the council provides to both the church and the community.
Our council has always been united and are fraternal brothers performing acts of charity in support of our church, families and community both as a group and as individuals. But spending social time together with our spouses and our priests demonstrates yet another example of the principle of fraternity.
