A Council Brother Responding to an Emergency.

Project Description:

One of our Council Guards and helper responded to a major problem with the Air Conditioning in our council meeting room, to investigate and find out why the rug in the meeting room was covered with water. The first thing done was to disable the unit. Once that was done he checked the, outside drain to see if it was plugged up. Once he cleared out some debris he turned it back on and it still was running water back into the room. Shutting down the conditioner once again, he found a wet-dry vacuum and tried to remove as much water as he could with the unit. He then checked the maintenance room out, and found a unit to help dry the air, and rug over night. Before leaving the church he notified the Parish Office of the situation so they could contact someone to repair the unit in the morning. With God’s help they were able to keep the damage down, with hopes the carpet doesn’t have to be replaced.
