American Flags placed at the graves of Veterans at Evergreen Cemetery

Council: 11257 - PORTLAND

Project Description:

Four brother knights of council 11257, led by PGK Jim Pizzo, placed American Flags at the gravesites of Veterans in Evergreen Cemetery, Portland. The flags are supplied by Portland Public Parks. There were approximately 500 flags utilized. This is a task that the council has participated in for many years. The cemetery is located across from St. Joseph’s Church in Portland which is home for council 11257 since 1994.
