American Red Cross Blood Drive

Project Description:

The Knights of Columbus, Limerock Council, #136 sponsored a blood drive on November 19th from 2 to 7 pm. The work done by the Knights was promoting the event by putting up posters around the community and advertising the event in the church bulletin. On the day of the blood drive the council volunteers staffed the registration table and the snack table. When the blood drive concluded members of the Knights cleaned the hall and put it back in order. The American Red Cross had a goal of collecting 21 pints of blood. By the end of the day 19 pints had been collected.
