Project Description:

Each July Council #13181 hosts a summer Chicken BBQ on the last Sunday of the month. This event is open to anyone and it attracts a great crowd each summer. The tradition goes back many years and we have our own barbecue pit, barbecue sauce recipe, and the knowledge and experience to provide over 100 delicious meals. It is also a great community building event and social occasion allowing us to share what being a Knight is all about while having fun and sharing great food together.

This year, as in past years, we prepared barbecued chicken, with potato salad, mashed potatoes, cole slaw, bread, soft drinks and dessert for well over 100 guests. Proceeds went toward our church and scholarship funds. Brother Knights that participated in the event include Dan Bouffard, James Ingalls, James Daigle, Robert Desbiens, Don Champagne, Robert Ayotte, Rodney Woodrum and their spouses.
