Project Description:

Our Council holds a Christmas Party each year in the week leading up to Christmas where we gather, all participants supplying a pot-luck dish which always provides a wonderful variety of appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts to choose from. We also take this opportunity to invite recipients from our Campaign for People with Intellectual Disabilities (formerly Tootsie Roll Drive) where we present checks to each recipient organization and give them the chance to talk about their programs and how the donations we provide will help them in their efforts. We end the evening with a Yankee gift swap that always sends people home with a smile. It is always an uplifting celebration and this year was no exception.
