Annual Council Lobster Dinner

Pine Cone Council 114 had a tremendously busy summer with several Church events, during a period of time when councils try to relax a bit and enjoy family time.
On September 15th, 2018 at St. John’s Church Hall, the Knights came together to share in fellowship, and to enjoy a great meal.
It’s tradition to begin the Fraternal Year with our kick-off Lobster Dinner. One of our Brother Knights is a lobsterman, and we purchased 70 lobsters from him.

80 persons joined in for the dinner, the meal was fantastic; lobster or baked chicken, baked potato, corn on the cob, Cole slaw, rolls, melted butter, and strawberry shortcake with real whipped cream. Brothers, this was one delicious meal!

We had three Priests in attendance and two Sisters of Mercy; the conversations were great, and people stayed around for a long time after the meal was completed. All in all, a great evening of fellowship and a great start of our Fraternal Year in Building up ourChurch community.
