Project Description:

I along with several other district members participated in the District 13 Winter Meeting which was held at Saint Pius Church Hall in Portland on Saturday January 19, 2019. In order for councils within the state to keep up on all the up-dates, changes, and any new programs being offered, it is important for our District Deputy to conduct a Winter and Summer District Meeting each year. This year there was a number of things discussed to include the NEW Faith in Action Program. Gathering with my fellow district officers at this meeting is a break from our monthly council meetings. STATE ADVOCATE Michael Giroux was present for this meeting representing our State Deputy. Also present was our new benefits agent for this area, Brother Mark Adams. Also as part of this meeting a meal was put on by the host council. As always our District Deputy presented a well put together meeting.
