Project Description:

A beautiful Fall day! The Fred V Brescia Council #1870 held a hotdog barbecue at the Holy Rosary Parish Center for the Faith in Action children to includes their families. All items were donated by the Council Brothers. We had three Brothers Knights in attendance to help put this awesome programs on for these children from start to finish. We had with the children and family’s a total of 100 in attendance. To see how happy and how they enjoyed the day was evident by their smiles and how appreciative the families were. We had four staff including the Director assisting the three Brother Knights.Two decades of the rosary was recited by all prior to eating. This took place outside near the statue of the Blessed Mother.Our Parochial Vicar,Fr. Steve gave his blessing and talked with the children. What a better way then to follow the footsteps of our Founder Fr. Michael McGivney. Then to give to our children and families. The meal consisted of Hotdogs, Rolls, , Chips, Vegetables trays watermelon and bottles of water.
