Project Description:

St. Maximillan as many Parishes suffers from dropping attendance and rising costs therefore the fundraising committee is always looking for ways to raise funds. During Lent the Knights Council #8144 supports various parish causes. Over 12 knights and 12 school volunteers starting with Thursday night set up though the dinner the next night donated over 98 hrs to make the haddock dinner happen. This week we had over 157 meals served. Donation to South Portland Robotics team of the net proceeds totaled $522. In addition for every dinner, the knights donate $25 to the parish kitchen maintenance fund to help with wear and tear and help with electric/gas utilities. Total council donation = $548 dollars. The evening was full of good food, fellowship and fun!
