Project Description:
The Red Cross is returning to Holy Martyrs for a blood drive on October 14, from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Our Council helps these blood drives go smoothly through volunteers – at least two at time, one to help register people on their way in and another to provide juice, etc., to people after donating. A couple of people to help with setup around 1:00 pm and also for clean-up after 7:00 pm would also go a long way. Precautions, including a requirement that all wear masks, will be in place to address COVID 19 concerns.
This drive was very successful, the total donations was 29 pints of blood, our target was 22
Based on this success, the Red Cross is looking forward to schedule another drive in the future
