Blood Drive

Project Description:

Council 320 always sponsored regular blood drive out of our council hall. Since our hall has been sold some of our activities have struggled to keep going. This year the council again sponsored a blood drive at the St. Rose Community center. Three brother Knights and one wife showed up at the community center at 11:00 am to prepare the hall for the American Red Cross arrival. We assisted the Red Cross staff to bring in and set up their equipment and were then assigned to welcome and sign in donors and man the snack table for the donors after their donation. 25 units of blood were collected at the drive. Due to the short stall provided by the Red Cross a few donors were turned away but the drive was deemed a success. We are scheduled for the next drive on April 4th, 2023.
