Boy Scout/ Knights Fundraiser

Project Description:

Scoutmaster for our Parish Scout Troop requested assistance in putting together a fundraiser for the local scouts. The Knights agreed to purchase the items necessary to put on a Spaghetti Dinner, it was decided to have the fundraiser on April 27th after the 4 o’clock mass.

Brother John Newcomb and Mark Armstrong Chopped up all the ingredients for the spaghetti sauce and then put it in a huge pot and simmered it throughout the entire day. John a=had s surprise visitor , his wife who stayed with him a couple hours while the sauce simmered, thanks Lisa! Later in the afternoon a couple other Knights arrived and helped with putting the Caesar sales together and roasting the garlic bread, and put the drinks together.

The event was well attended with about 130 attendees. All in all a very good fundraiser.

In addition, brother Ed Beaulieu provided a 50/50 raffle to benefit the scouts as well.
