Brunch Fundraiser to support Maine Right to Life

Project Description:

Our Council held a Brunch Fundraiser on May 27 in our parish hall. The profits from the brunch were earmarked for the Maine Right to Life. The brunch included pancakes, eggs, bacon, fruit, and donuts. Brother Knights were involved in planning, marketing the event, purchasing food, setting up the hall, preparing and cooking the food, serving the community guests, running the 50/50 auction, cleaning up afterwards, and resetting up the parish hall. Flyers were inserted into Church bulletins, notices placed in local newspapers, and Church’s main sign were used to market the event. Eight Knights and two spouses participated in the effort serving approximately 50 people from the community. Maine Right to Life was highlighted throughout the event. The event raised approximately $250 for Maine Right to Life.
