Celebration of Marriage

Project Description:

At the request of our pastor our council was asked to coordinate a Celebration of Marriage event with a couple as guest speakers that the pastor had designated. The council handled the bulletin announcements and inserts as well as the coordination of a pot luck supper with the help of other parishioners as well the planning with the couple mentioned above.
The event took place on February 15th took place at St Joseph’s Church in Bridgton. Over 60 parishioners were present at this event. Following supper the speakers gave a presentation on marriage and our pastor addressed the participants asking them to share their marriage experiences.
