Christmas Mitten Trees

Project Description:

Brother Knight Peter Rovnak has been doing the Mitten Trees for a number of years during the Christmas Season. The knights put up a Christmas tree in the rear of St. Josephs and St. Pius churches so that parishioners are able to donate Hats, mittens, socks and scarves for children and adults. The donated goods were delivered to the St. Vincent De Paul for distribution to the needy. This year the parish, combined with First Lutheran School Age Care, gave 381 pairs of mittens, gloves, hats, scarves and more. We left the trees up until the Epiphany(January 8, 2023).
