Coats for Kids in Schools

Project Description:

Springvale Council #2755 participated in fundraising to support children needing coats during the winter in the Sanford area. DGK Norm Garneau and PGK Bob Tyler along with Sir Knight Bob Watson arranged for coats to be purchased and delivered to the Sanford School system via a social worker who gave them sizes for kids that were in need of coats. A total of over 60 coats along with assorted knitted items were delivered and disbursed before Thanksgiving. A display of thank yous for the children will be displayed in the chambers during the winter.
