Coats for Kids

Project Description:

As part of the Coats for Kids Program, our council purchased 12 boys and 12 girls coats for distribution to a local school. This year our Deputy Grand Knight brought the coats to Mollyockett Elementary School in Fryeburg, Maine. The decision to give the coats to this school came after careful consideration and reassurance from the school that there was sufficient need for them. Our DGK was very well received at the school as the staff was extremely appreciative. Pictures were taken of the coat exchange and displayed in local newspapers. Our council plans to continue this tradition yearly with a rotating schedule of recipient schools.
