Confirmation/1st Communion Masses - Honor Guard

Project Description:
The Faith Formation Director Shelly Gould asked if the Knights could participate in this years Confirmation nd 1st Communion Masses by providing an Honor Guard to add to the excitement of Beauty of the Mass by having the Knights in their Regalia and March in with the Clergy for this very important date in these young persons lives. The Knights responded in a big way, providing honor guards for each of the two Masses on May 8th on at 10:30 am and the other at 2:30 pm at St. John’s Catholic Church in Bangor.
The Masses were very well attended, the music director provided very wonderfully prepared music selections and everything sounded magnificent. After the Masses, there were socials in the church hall.
Great day, great participation by the Honor Guards once again, the Knights of Columbus placed their best foot forward!
