Project Description:

Three council Brothers and the Parish Office have worked tirelessly in supporting our Council Bereavement Program within the Parish of the Holy Eucharist. We have been busy since July , 2018 with many request for help in support of our council brothers, their families and even some families who are not connected with the Knights. Myself and our Grand Knight and Deputy Grand Knight work as a team in seeing that Family and Individual names are collected. Following that our Grand Knight and Deputy Grand Knight will connect up with the family to see where we can be of help. I myself am in charge of seeing that Mass cards, Memorial Cards, Flowers or donations are sent to the correct family member and or location. If there is a family who request a donation be made in lieu of flowers then our Grand Knight and our council financial team will meet and a check is written and sent out. We have been working with this program since the formation of our council some 6 years ago. Reaching out to those in need, that’s what the Knights of Columbus are all about. May the soul of the faithfully departed rest in PEACE.
