Project Description:

One of our Knights received a phone call from the Bridgton, Maine Community Center inquiring if our Council could provide help to an elderly couple. The request was to install safety grab bars in their home and some other work. Two of our Knights obtained six safety grab bars, a safety toilet seat, a 12′ drapery rod, shelving and one of our Knights built a beautiful storage cabinet over their washing machine. All these items were installed in their home by the Knights.The couple reimbursed the individual Knights for the cost of the materials and made a generous $200.00 donation to our Council and were most appreciativee for the complimentary labor performed
