As care takers of God’s good earth this is our home. I am a believer we must all do our part to care and protect this gift we have been given. Over the past 5 years I have assisted as a coordinator of this year’s national drive electric vehicle event held on September 16 at the South Portland Community Center from 12-4. This year I was proud to assist where we offer electric vehicle owners the opportunity to show their EVs and discuss the benefits of driving clean, emission free. As an EV owner it is important that we protect our environment even by what we drive. We had over 350 people attend this event with 50 volunteers from various organizations assisting with dealer ride and drives, demos, discussions some great food to eat. There may have been other brother knights present but I would not have known.
