Project Description:

The Knights from St. Joseph Council # 12941received a request from the Esther House to provide assistance to a young expecting mother that was being encouraged to seek an abortion. Already having a daughter to care for, she was in need of food assistance and gas money to go the the Alpha Clinic in Sanford. A connection to the food pantry was made and for hot meals on 2 days per week. A $50 gas card was purchased and immediately provided to Esther House for her.
