Faith Formation End of School Barbecue

Project Description:

The Faith Formation Director Tracy Guerrette asked if the Knights would cook the hamburgers and hot dogs for the end of year Faith Formation BBQ being held on May 5th, 2019 at St. John;s Catholic Church Hall; to which we agreed to provide the grill, manpower to cook the hamburgers and hot dogs and to place the meal within the buns and rolls and keep the serving line filled with ample hamburgers, cheeseburgers and hot dogs.

The Hall was set-up and the drinks, side dishes, chips, desserts were readied, all was set to go right at noon as scheduled. 108 hamburgers, 72 slices of cheese, 80 hot dogs, with buns and rolls were purchased. Everything was cooked and ready to go well before noon, and everyone was so pleased with one of the first BBQs of the season. 70 Degrees helped a lot with making the atmosphere and Sunday a huge success.

Thanks to the Faith Formation Team for making the luncheon such a huge success and so well attended. Great numbers, and a great program was put on by Tracy Guerrette and staff.

Absolutely great church event with so many children and parents, grandparents and friends attending.
