Faith Formation First Sunday of Advent Luncheon

Project Description:

The KofC was asked by the Faith Formation Director Tracy Guerrette to do a simple meal for advent, first Sunday. Brother Marvin Garrick answered the call by deciding on the soup, rolls, fruit, dessert and the rest is history. One knight did the project. One hour of shopping and bringing ingredients and rolls to the church. On Sunday he arrived at church at 5:45 a.m and made six gallons of beef and barley soup. Worked 5 and 1/2 hours. 100 people were served and enjoyed the forum, simple, parish opportunity to get to know each other in a faith sharing manner.
