11 Brother Knights of Council 15791 were present in our meeting room, and Via Zoom on Tuesday 4 October 2022 for our October monthly Business Meeting. Because of the Covid-19 Virus, it was decided by our Grand Knight, to hold this month’s meeting via ZOOM, as well as in person. As part of the council business meeting, the Council Family Director made the announcement of the brothers who were selected for the month of October. The Knight of the Month Certificate was presented to Fr. Paul Marquis. Fr. Paul is a member of the Parish of the Holy Eucharist and resides at Sacred Heart Church in our cluster.Fr. Paul Marquis has been a member of the knights since January 1, 1991. Fr. Paul is a Fourth-Degree member / Lifetime member. Our Family selected was Brother Chris and wife Blessing Handley and Children. They have one girl and two boys. The Handley family joined our council and order on March 17, 2016. Brother Chris is a Blood donor, and he is also a Third-Degree member. When choosing names for their children Brother Chris and wife Blessing chose the names Hope-Holden and Hudson after places in Maine. Very Special. Both sons helped with the Parish Bible Camp this year. Blessing is the leader of the younger boys’ and girls’ basketball team at a local school. Blessing is a housewife and a regularly active mother with their three children. Brother Chris is active with the council working on a number of fund-raising events and is team leader for the Coats for Kids Program for the council. The children have helped the Knights from time to time raising funds for the Council and Church. Brother Chris is a Soccer Team Captain within his community. This family attends mass weekly and are a faith filled family.
