Project Description:
Westbrook Council #2219 honors a Family Of The Month and this month we’re recognizing a couple that operates as a true team in what ever they do and their names are Steve and Eleanor Gagnon. First of all Steve is responsible for the book/puzzles and games sold at the Christmas Fair, Steve collects these items year round storing them in their home in preparation for either the Christmas Fair or Yard Sale for Scouts Camping trip. Eleanor is right by his side throughout the entire sale plus clean up together responsible many dollars earned for the parish. Later rolls reverse when St. Anthony moves to their participation in the Family Promise Program, it takes a village of volunteers however we are blessed to have Eleanor heading up the project with her expertise and knowledge. Steve now is by Eleanor’s side as he helps her throughout the weeks activities helping to aid and offer shelter to homeless families in our community. They are an asset to the Knights of Columbus, St. Anthonys parish and the community and we’re honored to know them.
