Project Description:

Led by our Andre Picard and the Family of the Month is ongoing monthly recognition of Church Family that has contributed to the entire Church Community and beyond.

A few examples from the past year include the following:
DECEMBER 2018 – Family of the Month for December It was a pleasure to recognize Simon Mutapa and his family with this award before our last council meeting. Brother Simon and his wife Mulenga are more and more prominent in parish life and are a pleasure to know. Their children, Simon Jr, Josiah and Candace, are terrific, fun, young kids. We are looking forward to seeing these youngsters grow and taking their places in the Catholic community here. Congratulations!

OCTOBER 2018 – Before our October business meeting, the council recognized Mike and Loyce Bolduc and family as our honored Family of the Month. Brother Mike needs no introduction to Brother Knights around here as he has simply done everything and led most of it as the most dynamic Knight in our council. Loyce is in the same league with great involvement and support of our projects and meals. They both do additional service to GSP outside of Knights related projects. They have been generous in hosting many officers’ meetings, saving us from setting up a picnic table in the snow somewhere to meet in wintertime.
Mike and Loyce have connections, too. Daughter in law Amy has taken on the project of decorating the MHT hall for the Thanksgiving dinner, son Chris is a Brother knight in North Carolina, and son in law Steve a Brother Knight outside of Dallas, TX. The best connection is with heaven, however. Loyce’s mom, Annette Addorio, who lived with the Bolducs for many years and who passed away last summer at age 103, is there praying for all of us as she did in life. If you knew Nan, you know it’s true.
