Project Description:

Dennis Breton is a longtime knight and a Past Grand Knight with the St. Thomas Council. Dennis is also a 4th Degree Knight with the W. Robert Bachelder Assembly where he serves as Purser. Dennis is involved in the This Man is You Saturday morning sessions. Dennis has recently done an ACTS retreat. Although he is retired, both he and his wife Joan are very active in the Parish.

Dennis, Joan and their daughter Jeannine have help out at all dinners put on by the Council in the past and will continue helping out at all dinners when they resume. Dennis has helped out in many Knights of Columbus activities. Recently he helped rake leaves at Notre Dame last month. Dennis is also on the sanitizing team, sanitizing the church after mass. Dennis and Joan serve as Eucharistic ministers at the 9:00 am Sunday service. Prior to Covid-19, they delivered the Eucharist to the home bound. They also scheduled Eucharistic Ministers for the various weekend masses prior to the pandemic. Dennis and Joan were involved in the Faith Formation program where they taught CCD and prepared Second Graders within the parish for their First Communion. Joan had taught CCD for many years, and recently retired from teaching due to the Covid pandemic. Dennis assisted Joan during her last year of teaching. Dennis and Joan volunteer at the Food Pantry and the Ray of Light program that assists veterans.

Dennis and Joan are proud parents of four children: Jeannine, Janet, Marie and Andy. Andy, who lives in Washington State, is also a Knight in a local council.
