Project Description:

St. Anthony is a participating church in the Family Promise program for greater Portland. Each church provides hospitality for homeless families and this week we were host to three families from the area. We provided a warm and safe have, home cooked meals and interactive activities. Each family was set up in their own room with warm comfortable cots to sleep on and their own privacy. There is a carpeted area set up in the church hall where families can gather and children play or do their homework. A television is also provided for viewing both programs and movies.
